For the past few days, we have been experiencing delivery problems will all incoming email. This was due to to a problem with an upgrade of our security checking software. This has now been resolved and all mail should be delivered normally.

We will be upgrading our web server tomorrow at 10:00 in the morning. Users may experience intermittent problems with our service. This upgrade is planed to be completed within an hour. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

Users might experience problems sending email today as we are upgrading our spam protection on the mail server.

Our mail server upgrade has been completed. All mail that passes through our server is now checked for spam. If a message is found to be spam it will be marked with a new subject and SMTP Headers. This makes it much easier for you to filter unwanted mail.

We now support email forwarding, this can be set up for your email account using the Members section. Once setup, It will enable you to redirect email from one account to another automatically.

"Catch all" email addresses are now supported. This means that users can now have anything before the at (@) sign of their domain email address all going to one POP3 mail box. To set up a catch all account for one of your domains, just click on the "Email Accounts" link in the Members section.

We have upgraded our Java support. Users can now use "java.username.devisland.net" or "java.yourdomainname.com" on the standard HTTP port (80), rather than the old method of "www.yourdomainname.com:8080". The old method will still be running for the next month to give our users chance to upgrade.

All of our customers that host domains with us will be pleased to know that you no longer need to type the "www." prefix anymore. Typing just your domain name will bring up your site.

The relocation is complete and all web sites are back online. All active paying user's accounts have been credited with five months worth of hosting free, you can confirm this by clicking on the "Pay" link in the members section. This credit can be applied to any of our hosting features, so if you want to experiment with a MySQL database now's your chance!

The relocation is almost complete, all servers have been moved and we are just waiting for the activation our new line. This has taken much longer than we expected, but we are assured by our network provider that it will be working by the end of the week. Once this is done the our service will be online.

This site is now hosted on a temporary server for the duration of the relocation. We will strive to keep our users informed and at present we estimate that the whole process should take a week. This downtime is caused by network setup issues out of our control. Our support email (support@devisland.net) is still functional for any questions or requests you may have.

We will be moving office on the 11/08/2003. We regret to inform our customers that this will affect all of our users. All user's sites and email will be offline for the duration of the move. While the move is underway this site will remain online at a temporary location in order to keep you the users informed. We relise that this will be a major problem to most of our users and our usual email address (support@devisland.net) will still operate for enquiries.

Due to the increasing popularity of our service, we will be upgrading our web server to improve its performance. This is to be scheduled at midnight tonight. During this upgrade user's web pages will be unavailable, services will be back online at 01:00 the following morning.

From the hours of 0300 to 1400 we experienced a network outage. This was due a failure of one of our routers, which has now been replaced. No user data was lost because of this fault. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The Turkish character set "windows-1254" is now supported, for more information about using a different character set to display non-English characters please refer to the help section.

PHP configuration upgraded. All PHP scripts should now be placed in the "php" directory, to allow serving of images and other content from scripts. Please refer to the help section for more information.

POP3 and SMTP mail servers upgraded. Please note that users now need to use their email address (eg. jbloggs@devisland.net) as their username when checking for mail.

Users can now pay by using a Switch or Solo debit card when paying with PayPal. VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards are still supported.

DOM XML, XSLT and EXSLT functions are now supported when using PHP.
